Jo Sjoblom
Jo Sjoblom loves reading, writing, drawing, and October. After receiving a BFA in Art Education from Utah State University, she became a wife and a mother of three beautiful and inspirational children. When her children were young, she spent 11 years as a weekly video news producer for a local elementary school.
Through frequent visits to the local library with her children, she began to realize there was a deplorable lack of quality, spooky storybooks for kids. She resolutely set out to create a book that is spooky, tense, fun, teaches moral principles, and introduces children to a broader vocabulary.
Jo lives in Utah with her loving husband, two of her children, and two guinea pigs, Gus and Jacques. She works in web development, graphic design, and creating new stories. Visit her website at
